You have to bring up actual birth certificate or passport if you want to renew your drivers liscense with CDL now in Iowa... Wasted trip. I now have to bring in the same amount of papers as a foreigner just to RENEW it
You also have to call ahead and get on a six month waiting list to get a new CDL. Back in the good old days you could just walk in and take the test.
