Subject: RE: $ per acre Soybean weed control

South-central Nebraska
I have a custom applied burndown/winter annual program in the fall, a residual pre and a residual post that I apply. Easily over $50 per acre. But, I've consistently had an all farm yield over 70 bu per acre. Good fertility and a clean field without weeds feeding on your nutrients and stunting growth has its costs. With that, my waterhemp control was not very good last year but neither were a lot of others. There is more to think about than just the total chemical cost.
