These prices are what I have to pay and information exchanged between farmers is one of the rights we have left. Companies are hoping that we dont speak to each other because it is such a competitive environment we tend to not want to have the neighbors know what we are doing. I was one of the last farmers in my area to go roundup ready and I think it is time for Monsanto stock to take a big dip like the rest of the country. Yes they have great genetics but we are held hostage at this shakey time in history and need to put things (inputs) into perspective.
I think there are great differences in prices of for the same seed in different parts of the country. They can't use the excuse of fuel prices anymore. They cant blame ethanol anymore. Who will they blame now.
