Central Ga | Interesting how the seeding rate varies from one area or one farm to another. I have been dropping two seed every ten inches for a long time. Just finished planting Friday. About 300 acres ago I upped the rate to two every nine inches on some thirty minute dirt on a dryland farm and finished up that way. Have always had really good success on irrigated stands and pretty darn good on dryland because I don't have much and can be very selective when I plant it. | |
