Eastern Shore of MD | We plant around 100,000 on 20" rows. Prob on high side but it's what we do. We can expect to see 120 bu avg. I will say with sorghum, we see large variance in variety selections. No one really seems to be interested in milo trials in our region so we experiment a lot. We've seen 35 bu swings in two varieties all else same.
We plant with a kinze 2100 brush meter so I can't help on the plates. | |
