Subject: RE: 10-34-0 results this year... suggestion

Modena, Wisconsin

I can say that I don't think there was any damage by using it.  I put on about 7 GPA but that is on 20 inch rows so about like 5 GPA on 30's.  Looking at stands they were good with no blanks or stunting from burn.  This year I had it running well so it was on all acres the same.  Last year I had it heavy on one field and then left one of the last fields without starter and you could see where it was better to have the starter.  Most of what I planted this spring was wet and it seemed to give it a boost compared to the neighbors field across the fence planted at within a day or so.  He uses 28% off to the side of the row.  Right now my plan is to continue the same program but may do a planned check next year with standard rate against none and a little heavy.  I will only do the heavy part if the soil has good moisture and then use about 10 GPA.
