It's very common on North Dakota, the largest wheat producing State in America.


You might notice I said areas, not states. I was thinking more in terms of the high plains, and the Palouse and surrounding production areas in Washington, Oregon, and Idaho. Those areas are pretty easy to pick out on this map, I think it's appropriate to refer to them as major wheat growing areas.
