Upstate Ny | need some ideas of how to price hayledge for a young guy starting out renting our dairy barn.
chopped 75 acres, got about 200 ton. grass/clover mix on some and straight grasses on others. not a big deal. he pretty much chose which fields he wanted to mow and when.
he mowed all the acres with his equipment.
he hauled all wagons and ran blower with his tractors.
and he hauled all feed to the farm.
he provided fuel.
i chopped with my tractor and chopper, used my wagons and blower.
Milk price is horrible, i have know the kid since he was 16, now 23. he has worked here on and off since he was 17.
do not wanna charge too much, but need some income obviously.
just want to be fair to both of us.
