South Texas
My career isn't long enough to be sure, but planting corn between 103 day and 118 day I can't blame a difference on the maturity. I kind of like the early stuff, we have a bad habit of corn burning up when our first growing season ends when it turns hot and dry.

One thing I'm almost certain of is planting earlier milo. Less bug pressure. Haven't been able to tell a yield difference, yield is still limited by water. And I'm not in so much a hurry to get it out because the corn isn't ready yet. Can finish milo then go float the river for a week, come back and start the early corn.
