Subject: Foliar feeding soybeans

Illinois
I have about 100 gallons of 9-18-4 liquid pop-up fertilizer left over from corn planting. I've been trying to decide what to do with it and today I thought about using it in a test plot on some soybeans. My thinking is I could spray the soybeans at 2 gallons to the acre at R1 growth stage. Maybe add 8 gallons of water and spray 10 g/ac. What do you guys think? Would it hurt the beans?
