what is the diameter of your openers? What press wheels are you running? What hydraulic pressure are you running? It sounds like the hydraulic pressure is not consistently being locked in but could also be the seed tabs/press wheels not getting a good press on the seeds. Are all of your gage wheels set at the same depth? Where the tractor wheels run you can adjust another notch down on the gage wheel to get it to match the others or buy the spring kit (always say I am going to get one but end up adjusting).
