Franklinton, LA | My 13 year old grandson and 9 year old grand daughter are visiting this week. Late yesterday afternoon we put a set line in a farm pond and baited it with small fish caught earlier yesterday afternoon. We caught these 2 snapping turtles. The yellow board is about 10" wide. My grandson took care of the turtles with my 22 magnum Ruger Single Six. I cut the line and let the turtles keep the hooks.
