North Mississippi Delta / Alabama Gulf Coast
You missed the Great Mississippi Delta by a few miles down I-55. You did pass within 5 miles of the edge of the Delta in Batesville, MS.
If you ever make that run again, another route from Memphis is 61 S thru the Delta down to Clarksdale and pick up 49 there down to Indianola then 82 east thru Greenwood to I-55.
goes through a lot of Delta farmland.
