| Trying to remember from long ago.......wasn't it Andy Granitelli (sp?) who played around with a turbine engine for several years. Seemed like he was making gradual improvements towards making a viable turbine work in an Indy car until the rest of the piston enging crowd somehow managed to make or change a rule which limited the size of the air intake ( or SOMETHING like that) which then shut down the progress on the turbine, as it input much more airflow.........
