Which way did you go? If you took 55 you were about 50 miles from me.
You would have been real close to Detroit. Like 5 or ten miles.

We took 55 south from St. Louis, then 155 to Jackson, then 45 south to Mobile. We do some logging, so it was nice seeing some southern style pine logging along the way. I'm just glad we don't have to haul two hours to a mill like a load of tree length pine we followed. On the way back, when we left Tupelo, we went to Memphis, then 55 the rest of the way just to see some different scenery. I wouldn't describe the area when we drove through Memphis as very scenic! |
