SC MN | Probably a strange question, but...
I put in a geothermal system with horizontal (slinky) loop field a few years ago. Because of the property and other factors, we started the loop about 50' away from the house out in the field. There is a big opening where we cut through to get to the field, and I was thinking about planting a nice oak tree there to frame up my eastern view. However, the tree would be right over top of the lines leading out to the loop field. Technically the tree would not be over top of the loops.
Would planting a tree in this spot eventually cause problems i.e. destroying my loop field or necessitating removal of the tree in say 20 years? My gut says I would probably be making a mistake.
Thanks for the help. | |
