Ain't no way I am going to plant any $300 a bag of corn...
Everybody throws that number out, but doesn't back it up with details. My '08-'09 Dekalb price book shows VT3 list prices from $250.90 up to $295.90. Only two hybrids at $295.90. I'll add these are ND prices. No idea how much the vary from one zone to the next, but without ALL the traits, and with 10% cash, you don't have to pay anywhere near that much.
Who is trying to sell you $300 corn? We want details so we can go kick his ass.
