Lapel, In | I am just a little guy anymore (in terms of acres that is). Got my bill for this year's seed. $45,000. Ain't no way I am going to plant any $300 a bag of corn or pay $50 for 50# of RR seed beans or at $50 thats $70 an acre soybean seed cost. Conventional seed corn @ $132 still figures out to almost $50 an acre. Pigs get fat, hogs get slaughtered. How are you going to handle these rip off prices ? Or do you think they are fair ?.
Anyone have a source for conventional beans ? Even bin run ? I am not playing this game.
