Mccune KS		Yrs ago I had a faithful dog that would
follow the tractor and disk.
Picture perfect
Straight pipe old Steiger just purring along
with the dog behind.

Then about 4am get out and do a stretch.
Dew came on dog had been following all that time
between the dust and dew his eyes madded
shut.

So he got to ride in the cab for awhile.
Door open and that old cat screaming
out.

Use to be able to tell who was working
ground by the sound of the engine.

Days go by fast.
Miss those days.
Old steigers had door holding open latches.
To worried about dust anymore.
