I will say this, in '88, here in my neck of north Iowa, we were sitting good on moisture till July 1st. And not another drop the rest of the summer with scorching temps. I've only seen spider mites two times in my life, and that year was one of them. Terrible yields. My corn averaged 75 Bu. And things looked so good end of June. So it can happen, I just don't think they can predict it.
