Driving through town tonite noticed quite a few people with garage doors up and their garages packed full of boxes, bags, etc.. and their very nice vehicles parked outside. Just kinda struck me as odd as people spend 30, 50, 70+ thousand dollars on cars and trucks and leave them sit outside exposed to the elements and the hailstorms. Personally, I would never leave my car or truck outside if I had a perfectly capable garage available.
I would rather have a $8000 tractor shedded than a $40,000 dollar pick up. Here vehicles rust out from the salt in less than 10 years so it don't matter. The only purpose a garage serves to me is it saves scrapping frost or snow off. |
