Kankakee, IL
I originally bought this book hoping to understand personal habits better. At the time I bought the book we had two foster children from Tennessee. Despite our best efforts and intentions we weren't able to "modify" destructive habits that both children had. I was hoping this would help shed some light on the habit cycle and boy did it ever. In the end we failed with those children but the book ended up being the best read and apply book that I have come across. I tried changing some small annoying habits of mine just to see if knowledge of the habit cycle was helpful, and it was. Business wise, a must read also. Amazing what we do just because it is ingrained into out brain.

The book also goes into detail on the beginning of AA and how accidentally the beginner came across the almost perfect methodology to quit destructive habits. Give it a try. In the worst case, a great book is never a waste of time. I'll pray for your efforts and your family.
