Eastern Iowa | My dad was a similar kind, a great example to me and my kids, and is sorely missed daily. Passed last May.
A big part of the grief we feel is knowing guys like that are not all that common anymore.
It's harder for guys who worked side by side with dad and his presence is everywhere they look, but in time the sting of that passes as well and you can get a little joy from it.
