Here if you tilled it you just spread it and replanted it. We pretty much got rid of it but I don't really know how. I asked Dad and he didn't know how we got rid of it either. I do know that the farm next door still has some.
I do know that atrazine and 2 4d work on it in corn. We have been running roundup in the beans plus some other chemicals with residual. Pursuit, Prowl, treflan,sencor are some. I think the no till helped also as it disappeared with in a few years of starting that program.
We spray the roundup right after we plant, before the crop comes up. If we use 24d, we use that a few days before we plant.
