Washington Co Ks | I tore down a line on my aunt's place. I had driven under it many times with the auger up on a Gleaner combine. I was in a hurry and hit the button to raise the auger not thinking that it is highest just before it is fully up and it was at it's highest point as I went under the line. I called the electric company and told them to bill me When I got back from moving the combine to a different field the head guy at the electric company was there fixing it. I told him that I did it and to bill me. He said that the wire was almost worn through from moving in the wind and was about to come down on it's own. He was able to shorten the wire and put it back up. A couple of days latter they came and put up new wire a little higher. I never received a bill nor did my aunt. | |
