Subject: Planting green problem...

SE PA
The dog loves to follow the planter for round after round- many miles in a day. Planting green provides all kinds of "interesting" rabbit trails and other attractions. But when he gets out in front of the tractor 5-10 ft in the tall cover i have to be extremely careful i don't run over him. There's been more then one occasion he's gotten slightly tangled up in hairy vetch and i had to push in the clutch. I let him ride in the cab with me but after a few rounds he wants back out. I hate to tie him up. The other day i asked my wife to keep him tied for an hour. I was planting half mile away, 10pm at night and he found me within 10 minutes- guess he heard the tractor! Anyone else have that problem?
