| If it was me, and I had a good chance for rain, I'd use the urea since it's cheaper. Really either will tie up in the thatch about the same if you don't find a way to inject it below. It's just part of nutrient cycling, it has to happen eventually or you'll end up with 6" of residue fluff in 5 years.
Urea spread or UAN dribbled or banded will will have a little less tie up and a lot less chance for volatility loss than UAN with flat fan or flood nozzles, IMO.
Put an extra 30# of actual N out and call it good. You'll get it back or most of it at least if you sow wheat in it this fall.
