What good would it do on a fenced in lot away from everybody? Better setting on a dealers lot where customers drive by.


Drive by? Do people really just happen to be driving down the street and see 50 used tractors on the local dealer lot and say, "you know, I think I'll stop in and get one"? These things aren't impulse buys, or at least shouldn't be. Why stop in at all today if a guy knows tomorrow there will still be at least 45 of those same tractors available?

If they're really going to have 160+ acres of repos, they'll probably be metering them out through auctions or to overseas markets as opposed to trying to sell them all locally immediately anyway. Customer access is not a concern in that case. Too much more supply hitting dealers all at once would make today's prices look expensive. That is their concern.
