The bolts you replaced on the closing wheel arm should have a slot that they move in for adjustment before tightening down. Also check the bushings in the arms for wear.

As to trying something new, I'll second Von's opinion and add that drag chains can be good insurance.

edit: by replacing bolts, I'm assuming you mean the ones in the closing wheel arm.
