Newfane NY | UAN at any cost here. My two fertilizer dealers have order's to never sell me urea for a N source for corn. Spread urea two years ago when our custom guy got behind, as we put all our 32% down with our herbicide. Never again. Test fields went 30 bpa less than the 32%.
Cheap fertilizer is not always the most profitable on this farm.
We also put on two gallons per acre of a 12% humic acid to hold the 32% in the ground.
And yes it does work as I test some tile lines and I could drink the outflow of the tile if I needed to.
