no not a drainage well, or in humbolt county, but it's not too far away.   

it is, or was, actually a well for the farmsite that used to be there, all that's left is the casing, well head, and some piping.    I guess on of the pipes, or well head must be rusted through.       it flows water year around, not much but enough to keep a pool there, the only times I've seen it stop were in '84 '88 and again in 2012.
