There is still 540 equipment that requires 100 HP to run. For example, larger manure spreader or silo blower.
X2. I was helping a friend of mine chop haylage yesterday. CIH 600 blower, 540 PTO. 7230R on the blower. 80 to 110 ft. silos. SP harvester, five 18 ft. wagons. 100 hp. on the blower doesn't cut it.
