Even writing down notes when you don't use that piece of equipment for another eleven months and the company changes things in the programming with there updates. Dealers around here quit having there planter and combine clinics which would help refresh your memory plus let you know about changes. I still would not go backwards, just seems like it could be easier.
I think a lot of it is, they have computer genius's writing the programs and figuring out all these electronics. Then they hand it off to farmers that many barely know how to turn on a computer. They make the stuff so it works, but they don't make it dumbed down enough for someone to jump in a tractor, and in 3 minutes know exactly what buttons to push to make everything work. |
