I would find out if landlord knows if some of those weeds are round up resistant or not. Would they be against a pass of tillage one time to start clean and have the weeds all dead. If you don't want to wait to plant which I wouldn't either I wouldn't cut cost if you don't get them dead now you won't get them the rest of the season.
