.		Don't feel alone. I'm less than 1/4 mile from DSL lines. Less than 2 miles from UW Wisconsin college campus that was the first to provide laptop computers to their students and yet I am on the west side of town; there is high speed service north, south and east. There is service 30 miles away where there are no cities.... So my options are Hughes net no way or Verizon, which sticks me over $300 per month for 3G of service which I need for work. Needless to say, I don't watch movies or play games at that price. They tell me in the "next few years" we'll join the rest of the world in high speed service.

I just bought a new Chevy with 4GB wireless; maybe I should check out their rates and do all my business from the car!
