What kind of flies? I feed Moorman's IGR blocks in a barrel with a hole cut in the side for horn flies (the tiny ones that bite and suck blood), and for face flies I hang those fly socks in the hole of the barrel, and soak them in permethryn every week at least once a week. This way when they stick their head in the barrel to lick the blocks, the permethryn gets smeared all over their head and around their eyes. Works great. Some years I put fly tags in the calves ears.
