Kingston,Mi
Jim didn't suffer from PST, nor did most if not all of the veterans I am related to, most had physical problems that were directly caused by duty activities and hardships. Of all the veterans I have came in contact with since I served a 3 year tour, only 1 was handicapped by his experience and spent several years in a hospital getting over it, then the next 50 years on disability. He had a breakdown before any action just worrying about it then it got worse. He was never quite right and spent most of his years volunteering with the DAV. He should have been sent home as not being navy quality material and redirected to a non-military career long before his unfortunate experience.
