Woodham, Ontario | The starter fert is 2/3 Urea and 1/3 MAP and I put on 150lbs. We try to put some manure on everything going into corn every year to cover P&K needs. Sidedress for the balance of N needs.
We crop approximately 1700 acres of which 1100 is corn, rest in alfalfa and some wheat which will also be planted to oats/barley/peas for silage. 700ish acres planned for corn silage, rest for cobmeal (earcorn). Milk 750 and raise all replacements. We will be a lot busier during corn silage! Do all our own fieldwork. | |
