Coles County, IL
Hey Guys!

Thanks for posting the link DodgeFarmBoy! This is our first year with a John Deee planter and also high speed. I'm an open book and learning more everyday, let me know if you have questions specific to the JD speed planter.

We are all Strip-Till so I find myself running 8.5-10mph depending on strip condition and field. When we bought it we never would have guessed we could run that fast with the performance it gives at those speeds. It's pretty amazing! Endrows I normally plant around 6.5-7.5mph. When coming into my turn at the ends I shift down 1 gear then throttle back to about 5 for the turn. I run a 8295RT track tractor so that helps with the birms on the end.

I can get into more details just let me know what area. Also if this weather ever allows I hope to get some more video and drone shots.

Thanks!
