| It's been many years since I worked at a hardware store, but those numbers are measurements of colors they mix into the paint to get that color. Just like anything else made in batches, you can never guarantee an exact match. Best suggestion, dab some of the old paint on a stir stick and before you leave the store, dab some new mix on the same stir stick and make sure it's pretty close. As long as you don't leave the store with the mix paint, you can refuse it after they mix it. | |
