Most of the windmill companies are owned by foreign companies too so that's where our tax dollars are going too.

...maybe that happens because the domestic industry was stuck with obsolete technology too long? Sorry couldn't resist.

Considering the full cost, wind power is cheap energy. Nuclear has consumed HUGE amounts of tax money, too, and will do this forever to keep the waste safe. Not to mention that a major breakdown causes damages excessing everything that has ever been seen before. Ask people in Chernobyl or Fukushima.







+1000. Our state power officials were happy last year, our wind farms produced good power 85% of the time. We are a flat almost treeless tall grass prairie with constant wind. It works well when combined with coal fired and hydro power we also have in our state, North Dakota.
