North of London | My post was not intended to say there are no real allergies but rather to point out the self diagnosing people do that are incorrect especially with things like gluten which causes problems in a small % of population while many more people self diagnose and then cause real harm because of the poor nutrition that results from their self diagnosis.
While not life threatening we have a daughter that suffers from allergies caused by some pollen and even cut grass.
It becomes a problem for her to maintain her own lawn especially at some times of the year, even being in the house when the grass is cut at times causes her distress.
There has been some work done on the increasing allergies indicating lack of exposure to other animals in childhood increases the chance of some allergies but don't think that is totally proven yet. | |
