My line for these situations is this:
If I wanted it screwed up I would have done it myself. The reason I hired a professional and am paying professional rates is to get a professional job. So that's what I expect. If you aren't willing to do a professional job then I plan to pay you the same thing I would have paid myself for a screwed up job.
