Subject: RE: Mexican Mennonites thank you

Galahad, Alberta
A local machinery dealer hired a couple Mexican Mennonites as mechanics because he couldn't hire any local talent away from the oil patch. They have worked out fine for him and about 2 dozen more families have moved to the area. They are ambitious and very entrepreneurial, starting construction, welding, and carpentry businesses. I hired one crew to build my cold storage shed a couple years back. They did excellent work, and have been back twice to fix little things that other carpenters would have told me to take a hike, but they fixed the issues and didn't charge me, just wanted me to be happy with their work. Good people.
