NW Iowa | I live in the Spencer area and we have had rain, rain, rain! Three days of field work and two weeks of rain, three days of field work and two weeks of rain, and on it goes. Our soil is not only wet, it is soggy. How long can this company keep employees in the motel room while it rains? If they are idle too long they start picking on each other, drinking and they tend to wander off to another job where they can actually get some time in working. The other day when I went to Spencer I saw a Redi Mix truck stuck in a field lane trying to get to a building site and there was another one sitting along the road waiting for the first one to get pulled out. I don't know how long they can keep that mix in the truck before it has to be dumped, but they weren't having a good day either because of the weather. | |
