There are days when this seems a needed solution:

It seems like there are so many things to know and the procedures to do them that at times they just run together.  I feel like any more any knowledge I have on a particular topic can only be a mile wide and quarter inch deep.

Labels affixed to the equipment and controls are one of the better ways I've found for quick familiarization.
