I was in my local SWCD office talking about a project I am doing and they said they have a couple guys in my area that seed CRP for hire, and they charge $75 an acre. I thought that was pretty steep, but after thinking about it most of the drills used for this are only about 7 feet wide, so there is a lot of time involved in seeding these projects. I've got an 8300 JD drill I was hoping to use for mine, if the seed will feed through. | |
