Cherokee County, Northwest Iowa | The Big Island gets my vote of where to go-fly directly into Kona, 82 degrees and sunny. rent a car, drive around the island, lots to see. Get a book before you go and study up. Hilo is a nice town, but plan on getting wet over there. Volcanoes National Park, Waimea and its upland grass area with the Parker Ranch, Black sand beaches, south point, historical places to see, state and national sites. Either rent a condo in Kona or nice resorts north of airport. really like that island, lots less people. e-mail is good. bruce..
