WCMO-SWMO Area
I'm lucky that I live in an area where ruts like that won't hurt much....If they did we'd have all went broke many years ago as there were numerous muddy harvests....In 1974 we cut most of our fall crops with tracks on..

In 1981 I mudded out every acre of my wheat and was stuck many times..That fall I had to mud out every acre of double crop beans and again was stuck numerous times.....Freezing and thawing mellows our sandy ground out and it worked down fine in the spring of 1982 growing the best crops that the weather would allow..

Go 10 miles away and the soil is totally different....Ruts like that would cause problems for several years..Hopefully the land owners in the pictures were well compensated...Theres power lines across farms in my area but they were put in during a drought in the 1950's..
