When we went we stayed in Honolulu a couple days then boarded a cruise ship. We cruised to diffeent islands. A couple of them we stayed ported for couple days and you could see the various sights. It was nice to see the different islands without haveing to pack everything then fly to a different island. We will probably go back but will stay in one place
